. . . just so we are not excluding anyone. Interesting post over at In Limbo. I don’t think any of this is news for fans, although it is for this guy. Apparently the fact that the game is in Columbus ‘excludes’ Hispanics. I think someone forgot to tell the large contingent of Mexican fans that they were excluded and not allowed to show up.
Hell, I’m from New York and I don’t want the MNT to play a qualifier in Giants Stadium. US Soccer manages to screw up some things (like that dumb song they insist on playing long after it has become apparent no one likes it), but their selection of venues has been smart in the recent past. I am glad to see that the focus is on winning and building the team instead of squeezing every cent out of the games.
